Dr. Walter and Edith Fischli’s generous support allows to attract young talents and foster collaboration between basic and clinical scientists. In an interview with the ETH Foundation, Dr. Walter Fischli talks about his time at ETH and what he sees as the spice of science.
We sincerely thank our valued donors for their commitment to improve the transfer of basic research findings into clinical practice.
Dr. Walter Fischli, with a passion for both translational research and violins, holds a “biotech” violin made from fungus-treated wood, developed in collaboration with Empa to achieve sound characteristics similar to those of antique master violins.
